These words from Dickens’ describe the past few month of quarantine like no other. It was the best time to be at home, take a step back from the crazy rat race that we are perpetually living in. The worst times for our insecurities about relationships and careers. The wisdom that took us back to basics, cooking all of our meals at home, living in harmony with nature, the foolishness that got us to believe how the virus would not affect us. The belief that got us through these uncertain times, the incredulity of the kind of impact this had on human life and livelihood. The season of light that helped, get closer to our families, the darkness that dimmed those who could not escape their violent domestic realities.  The hope that, if the world intended and came together, climate change could be reversed and the despair that comes with the realization that our lives will never be the same.

Turn on the light is our attempt at brightening up your life, designing this collection gave us hope in the dark cloud that Covid-19 brought over our business. With perky colors and flared styles, we wish to light up your lives and lift up your spirit, pushing the troubled times behind us, opening up doors to a brighter future. “
